Named-entity recognition (NER) attempts to locate and classify atomic elements in text into predefined categories such as the names of persons, organizations, locations, etc.
Beyond giving very rough information about entities, our NER system provides much finer entity type information compared to other systems. In fact, we cover more than 200 entity types.
